Women's league bowling ends with championship tourney indoor thinciads
The 2012 Lovell Wom-
en's Bowling Association's
championship tournament
was held at Victory Lanes
in Lovell on Monday, Feb.
20, Saturday, Feb. 25 and
Sunday, Feb. 26 with 47
women league bowlers com-
peting from all around the
Big Horn Basin and south-
western Montana.
The ladies competed in
team events, doubles and
singles and all events both
handicap and scratch divi-
sions.
The LWBA would like
to extend its appreciation
to The Hen House on Main
St. in Lovell for its dana-
tion of girl, certificates for
door prizes. Winners of the
gift certificates were Becca
Gross, Bev Hankins, Coleen
Wagner, Sandra Russell
and Chelsey Eades. Thanks
are also extended to all the
women who competed, those
who helped out behind the
scenes and to Victory Lanes
for hosting the tournament.

The Lovell High School
indoor track team conclud-
ed the 2012 season in Gil-
lette this past weekend at
the Wyoming State Indoor
Track Championships.
The LHS squad had two
placers this year, Kade En-
glert, who placed seventh in
the high jump with a sea-
son best jump of 5-8, and AJ
Montanez, who took third
in the shot put with a throw
of 49-8.
Several others also did
well at the state competi-
tion. Sophomore Brandon
Dickson obtained a new
personal best in the 1,600
meters with a time of 5:13,
