Rocky. Mtn. Power surchar reinstatement
PUBLIC NOTICE
Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) has been given authority by the
Wyoming Public Service Commission (Commission) to reinstate the
original Category 2 surcharge of 0.90% in tariff Schedule 191, Cus-
tomer Efficiency Service Charge, effective for service rendered on
and after February 2, 2012. The surcharge is a percentage amount
added to each Category 2 customer's total monthly bill. The Com-
mission's approval is subject to notice, protest, intervention, possible
hearing, refund, change, further investigation and further order of the
Commission.
Category 2 covers customers taking service under non-residen-
tial Schedules 25, 28, 40, 210 and all lighting Schedules. The rein-
stated surcharge was effect for Category 2 at the time all Surcharge
collections were suspended, January 1, 2011.
RMP stated that reinstating the Category 2 surcharge will ensure
the continued funding of cost effective Demand Side Management
(DSM) programs and minimize customer rate impact by aligning sur-
charge revenues and expenditures while they are near equilibrium.
The Company is not requesting authority to reinstate the Category 1
or 3 surcharges in this application.
This is not a complete description of RMP's application. Custom-
ers with questions about how this application could affect their elec-
tricity bills should contact RMP directly for further information. In-
terested persons may inspect the application during regular business
hours at RMP's Wyoming service centers in Casper (Casper Service
Center and Casper Region Office), Cody, Evanston, Laramie, Pine-
dale, Rawlins, Riverton, Rock Springs, and Worland. The application
and its supporting testimony and exhibits may also be reviewed on the
internet at http://www.pacificorp.com Information is also available
from RMP about Category 2 DSM programs.

tervention petition or request for a public hearing in this matter must
file with the Commission in writing on or before April 9, 2012. Please
mention Docket No. 20000-406-EA-11 when you call or write.
