is seeking qualified applicants for the position of
Successful applicants must be self-starters who are willing and
able to work with or without direct supervision. Individuals will
become part of a team whose mission is to carry out an effective
weed control program for Park County, and perform duties in the
operation and maintenance of spraying equipment.
Successful applicants will become certified Private Pesticide
Applicators as pursuant to FIFRA and the Wyoming Environmental
Pesticide Control Act of 1973.
Experience or a working knowledge of weeds, sprayers, 4X4 trucks,
basic computing, basic math and map reading are desired for these
positions.
Good communication skills, attention to detail, and professional
attitude are of the utmost importance for these positions.
Successful applicants must be able to traverse a wide range of
physical conditions including walking long distances over steep
and challenging terrain. This position requires the ability to operate
specialized chemical application equipment, exercise sound
