Lovell High School track teams finish
first and second at the 2010
Wyoming 2A State Trace Meet
LoveI! senior Katie Walker reaches for extra distance in the
triple jump competition Saturday morning at the state track
meet. Always a successful triple jumper, Walker wrapped
up her career with a strong second-place finish in the event,
leaping 34-9½.
Lovell junior Karen Koritnik looks totally focused as she powers over a hurdle during the
preliminaries of the 300-meter low hurdles Friday morning in Casper, Koritnik won the event
with a time of 46.66 on Saturday, one of four first-place medals she earned at the state track
meet.

Sophomore Colin May glides around the corner during
the 1,600 meters Saturday afternoon at the state track
meet, with fellow sophomore Collin McArthur not far
behind. May and McArthur eventually placed third and
fourth, respectively, in the metric mile.
