LOVELL TOWN COUNCIL MINUTES
MINUTES OF THE TOWN COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
HELD JUNE 23, 2014 AT 7:00 RM. AT LOVELL TOWN HALL.
Present: Mayor Bruce Morrison, Council Members: Bruce
Wolsey, Brian Dickson, Scott Ailred and Kevin Jones. Others present:
Clerk/Treasurer Valerie Beal, Ed Allred.
With a quorum present, Mayor Bruce Morrison-called the
meeting to order.
Council reviewed and discussed adjustments made to the budget
worksheet for the upcoming 2014-2015 budget year.
ORDINANCE 930 providing for the Annual Appropriation for
the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2014 and ending June 30, 2015 was
presented. Bruce Wolsey made a motion to approve Ordinance 930
for the 2014-2015 on 3 reading. Second by Brian Dickson. All
in favor. Motion passed.
ORDINANCE 931 providing for the Annual Tax Levy for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 2014 and ending June 30, 2015 was presented.
Scott Allred made a motion to approve Ordinance 931 on 3 and final
reading. Second by Kevin Jones. All in favor. Motion passed.
Bruce Wolsey made a motion to table discussion on a budget
resolution. Second by Scott Allred. All in favor. Motion passed.
Mayor Bruce Morrison reported he will read a proclamation in
honor of Max Maxfield, retiring Secretary of State, and present him
with a key to the city on Saturday, June 28th during the Mustang Days
breakfast. Max has shown great support for the Lovell Volunteer Fire
Department, North Big Horn Hospital, Big Horn County Search and
Rescue and the Town of Lovell over the years and will be named an
Honorary Citizen of the Town of Lovell.
Bruce Wolsey made a motion to adjourn at 8:25 p.m. Second by
Brian Dickson. All in favor. Motion passed.
