Brown wins twice at ham shoot
A group of 26 shooters showed up to the
Lovell Rod and Gun Club Ham Trap Shoot
Saturday at the Lovell Shooting Complex.
Brandon Jolley and Bruce Trem-
bath won the first Annie Oakley shoot, and
Carl Brown won the final Annie Oakley
shoot after a three-way shoot-off.
John Skaggs and Carl Brown won
the buddy shoot.
Proceeds from the ham shoot went to-
ward purchasing a gun safe for North Big
Horn County 4-H shooting equipment.

Legends wins

The "Legends" team,
made up of Dan Zwemer,
Russ Sessions, Diane Ando,
Kayla Ando, Breanne Ro-
birds, Heather Wagner and
Ariel (last name unknown),
took first place in a field of
13 at the Mustang Days Vol-
leyball Tournament Satur-
day at Constitution Park.
Legends won in three
games against second-place
finishers "Used to Could,"
made up of Zack and Pau-
la Opps, Jason and Pame-
la Wardell and Deena and
Waleryan Wisniewski. Leg-
ends was awarded $180
and Used to Could received
$40.
The double-elimination
contest lasted from 1 to
about 6:30 p.m., and it was
"pretty competitive," said
Legends member Heath-
er Wagner. Her team was
made up of players from
Powell, Cody, Deaver and
Byron.
