REGISTRATION AND ORIENTATION
K-12 Registration at appropriate school Wednesday, Aug. 8, 8 am-4 pm
All students must be registered by a parent or guardian If you cannot attend on the above date
please call the office to make arrangement to register at another time.
Orientation for sixth graders, new students and their parents on Tuesday,
Aug. 21 from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.
This will be a time to meet the teachers and go through a shortened schedule so they are famil-
iar with how it works on the first day of school.
Sports/P.E. Orientation for middle school will follow at 5:00 in the library.
The coaches will be there to talk about sporting events and requirements for P.E. Please plan
on attending. If your child plans to participate in sports he/she must have a sports physical be-
fore the first day of practice. You may get a sports physical from your family doctor or attend
the free clinic on Aug. 9 & 10 from 1-4pm at the North Big Horn Hospital Clinic.
Big Horn County School District #1 is now offering
ONLINE REGISTRATION
for all students and parents within the district. With this new service begin-
ning after Aug. 1, schools hope to provide parents with a convenient, efficient
procedure for registering their children for the upcoming school year. Regis-
tration can be completed by going to the district's website (http://www.
bighornl.com) and following the registration link. New registrations can be
completed without a usemame and password while currently enrolled students
will require a username and password to verify and update their student's
information.

Breakfast and Lunches must be paid in advance.
Applications for free and reduced-priced meals will be mailed from the district
office. We would like to have the applications processed before the first day of
school. You will need to send lunch money with your child if the application
process has not been completed prior to the first day. As soon as the
application has been approved or denied you will be notified. If approved, your
child will begin receiving benefits immediately. Please answer all the questions
on the application form and return it to the District Office.
