Major awards for 4-H
fabric and fashion projects
were presented during the
Fashion Revue Thursday
evening at the Big Horn
County Fair.
Grand and reserve
champions were named
for construction, ready-to-
wear, buymanship and styl-
ist, along with some spe-
cial awards. In construction
judging, members shop for
the perfect pattern, fab-
ric and utilize their talents
in sewing their outfits or
creations.
With the Ready to Wear
Contest, members have the
opportunity to purchase
clothing that is of great
quality and less expensive.
The youth compare prices
and shop for the best out-
fits for them at a reasonable
price.
In the Buymanship
Contest the members shop
and compare the prices and
quality of outfits that best fit
their body type. The mem-
bers express their personal
creativity by modeling their
outfit, as well as completing
a detailed notebook tracking
the comparisons.
