10 I The Lovell Chronicle I October 25, 2012 PATTI CARPENTER North Big Horn Hospital recently acquired a new CT scan machine. The machine replaces a slower machine, imparts less radiation and provides more detailed images for doctors to study. Technologists (l-r) Betsy Piper, Tim Erz, Kellee Morgan, Julaine Askvig and Craig Pearson operate the new machine. RMHS AT LUSK Casper Natrona JVs 43- 21 and Normative Servic- es 55-0 - but other games, especially those against playoff-bound teams, have been closer - Burns 14-6, Southeast 7-6, Lingle 36- 24 and Upton-Sundance 22-12. Last season Lusk bur- ied Saratoga 38-10 in the first round of the playoffs before falling to Cokeville 28-7 in the semifinals. "They're a. good, solid team - very aggressive on defense," Hayes said. "They put a lot of players in the box and attack you. They're athletic. Offensively, they run an I backfield and run right at you, includ- ing sweeps and counters. They're not overpowering. They are aggressive. It will be tough. "Our strategy is that we're going to have to keep them off-balance on offense, be opportunistic and limit miscues. We've got to be as- continued from page 8 signment sound on defense and be in a position to win the game." Other first-round games include Lingle-Ft. Laramie at Cokeville, Shoshoni at Southeast and Upton-Sun- dance at Burlington. 1A WEST FOOTBALL Conf. They are who they are," Ha- zen said. "They have a good tradition and they are very good at what they do. And this year, as well, they are pretty darn good." Glenrock have two top running backs in Jor- dan Millay (#85) and Dev- on Parkinson (#26), both of whom average more than 100 yards per game. "They have two of the top five rushers in the state," Hazen said. "It's stu- dent body left and student body right. They'll try to get more people to the point of attack than we have de- fenders. "We'll have a couple of different defenses prepared to give them a couple of dif- ferent looks - to be more physical and stuff them at the point of attack or con- fuse them and create some seams to allow linebackers to get through and tackle." Defensively, Hazen said, the Herders generally use a 5-2-4 defense but will sometimes load nine play- ers in the box to stop the run. "We'll try to take ad- vantage of some passing windows," he said. 2A WEST FOOTBALL Conf. Overall Team W L W L Lyman 7 0 8 0 Lovell 6 1 7 1 Mtn.
