Three girls from the
Lovell area, Rylie Kan-
nard, Alyssa Schneider
and Katrina Twitchell, are
competing for the Powell
Lady Panthers swimming
team this year.
The girls competed
in the 3A West Confer—
ence Championships Fri-
day and Saturday, Oct.
16-17, in Kemmerer with
a chance to qualify for the
3A Girls State Swimming
Meet, which will be held in
Gillette today (Thursday)
through Friday.

“It was long, hard
and tiring but definitely
worth it,” Schneider said
about the season so far.
“The coaches are the best,
and they know what they
are doing. Coach Robert-
son always says that you
can hate him for the prac-

school, and you miss a lot
of just being a teenager
because it is year round,”
Schneider added. “Travel-
ing for meets and practices
isn’t always easy, but it’s
really worth it. My team
and my coaches are my
family and I wouldn’t have
it any other way.”

accomplished season,”
Kannard said. “I’m not
only proud of my accom—
plishments but of all the
accomplishments of all the
girls that I had the privi-
lege of spending the season
with.”
Twitchell, a freshman
at Lovell High School,
placed 12th in the 400-me—
ter with a time of 6:01.51.
“I feel like the team is
my family and that they
care about me so much
that it makes it easier to
go to Powell every day,”
Twitchell said. “I was sur-
prised I qualified for State.
I didn’t think I could do it.
I am surprised by how well
I did this year.”
Heading into the state
swimming meet, Schnei-
der qualified for 11 of the
12 events, the 200 med-
ley relay, the 200 free, 100
free, 200 and 400 free re—
lays, 100 butterfly, 50 free,
100 backstrOke, 200 IM,
100 breaststroke and the
500 free.
Kannard qualified
for State in the 100 back-
stroke, and Twitchell qual-
ified for State in the 500
freestyle.
“I’m really very proud
of these girls,” parent Jen—
nifer Schneider said. “The
time and extra effort they
put into swimming is ex-
hausting. They participate
in two-a-days throughout
the swim season. They get
up at around 4:30 am. and
don’t get home until 6:30
pm. They are dedicated to
their sport to say the least.
“The Powell swim
team really has become
like family to them. The
coaches all are fantastic
and have welcomed these
girls with Open arms.”

Big Horn County School District No. 2
Lovell High School New Kiln Building
Big Horn County School District No. 2 is receiving sealed Pro-
posals for their New ,Kiln Building at the Lovell High School.
The work consists of the following: The work will consist of a new
415 square foot kiln building at the Lovell High School. This building
will be constructed with foundation walls and footings, cold formed
steel structure, EIFS siding to match the existing surrounding build-
ing, and a standing seam metal roof system. There will be minimal
HVAC and electrical systems, as well as other work as defined by the
Contract Documents.
First copies Of the Contract Documents will be on file after 0cto~
ber 23, 2015, and open to public inspection in the office of Plan One/
Architects, 1001 12th Street, Cody, WY.
Bidders may obtain one (1) set of Contract Documents from the
Office of the Architect upon deposit of $50.00 for a hard copy, $25 for
electronic (make checks payable to Plan One). Deposits are to be
non-refundable.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on November 2, 2015, begin-
ning at 2:00 pm. Meet at the High School Central Office just off of
Great Western Ave in Lovell. The Pre—Bid is Mandatory for all Gen-
eral Contractors wishing to have their bid considered for the work.
The sub-contractors and suppliers are welcome to attend the Pre-bid
Conference.
All Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount
of 5% of the maximum amount of the Proposal. Successful bidder to
provide a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. Preference shall
be given to Wyoming Contractors as defined by Wyoming Statutes,
1977, Section 166-101, in accordance with the provisions of Section
16-6-102. Attention is also called to the provisions of Section 16-6-103
with respect to Sub-contractors by a successful bidder.
The Owner reserves the privilege of rejecting any or all propos-
als, or waiving any irregularities or formalities in any proposal in the
bidding. Submit written proposals to: Big Horn County School Dis-
trict No. 2, 502 Hampshire Avenue, Lovell, WY, 82431. Sealed propos-
als marked, “Lovell High School New Kiln Building” on the out-
side of the envelope must be received by 2:00 PM. November 9, 2015.
