14 I The Lovell Chronicle I November 29, 2012
DAVID PECK
RMHS student leader
award winners
Three Rocky Mountain High School student
leaders recently received awards at the
Wyoming State Student Council Convention
in Cheyenne. Sienna Rausch, left, received the
Hidden Hero Award for service to her school's
student council; Brady Winland, center,
received an All-State Student Council award
as one of the top 15 student council members in
the state; and Casey Banks, right, was honored
as a Northwest Regional Representative for
the Wyoming Association of Student Councils.
The article about Lovell High School exchange student
Giorgia Pastocchi written two weeks ago incorrectly stated
that her host family is Roger and Janice Hiser. Her host
parents are actually Brian and Pamela Hiser.
Also, a photograph printed in the Nov. 1 edition of the
Chronicle of the Deaver-Frannie' Fire Dept. working with
kids from the Rocky Mountain Preschool during a field
trip was misidentified. The two in the photo were Kendal
Wambeke and Matthew Reimers.

Get your senior center beef/
pork raffle tickets now
Here comes the latest news from the North Big Horn
Senior Center. The focus is on December and its upcoming
events. First, the center fundraiser of raffling off numer-
ous beef/pork bundles is still ongoing. The drawing will not
be until Dec. 19, so remember to get in and buy your tick-
ets. They would make a grand Christmas gift for a friend
or loved one.
Another great idea for Christmas would be to get your
hard-to-buy-for senior some meal tickets, Stop in or call
the center at 548-6556 to purchase either raffle or meal
tickets.
Secondly, you may pick up a small tree or wreath
to decorate for Christmas. They will then be donated to
North Big Horn Hospital to brighten a patient's room or to
be delivered to a needy family. Supplies are limited, so you
need to pick one up as soon as possible.
Thirdly, the December birthday/Christmas party will
be early this month. It will be Wednesday, Dec. 12. Santa
will be on hand with gifts for those who have been nice,
not naughty.
Lastly, this year's New Year's Eve party will be at
noon on Monday, Dec. 31. 'Tis a busy but exciting month.
Come and join the fun.

In 1995 Sheryl Martin was a budding hair stylist who didn't see the value in health insurance. Luckily
her husband did. Still in his twenties, he was diagnosed with a life threatening condition and underwent
$75K worth of treatments. The Martin's portion--just $1,500. "We were so thankful he had Blue Cross
Blue Shield of Wyoming."
Fast forward to the present. Sheryl is not only a health insurance advocate; she's also a Blue Cross
Blue Shield of Wyoming employee. As for her husband, he's now running marathons.
